Dr. Paul Jairaj is an internationally trained Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon leading the way with the most advanced proven treatment options in
the Hip and Knee. His innovative techniques lead to faster recovery, improved function and better outcomes in his patients.
Dr. Jairaj has worked in private practice in Central London for 15 years and is one of the first surgeons in the UK to pioneer the use of 3D planned
patient specific custom prostheses for Hip and Knee Replacements. He has the largest combined experience in the UK of these two procedures
and his practice is emerging in Dubai.
He is one of the only surgeons globally performing all of his hip arthroscopic and femoroacetabular surgery through mini-capsular incisions, and is

to repair the knee meniscus and hip labrum, as opposed to resecting it.
The latest Cartilage repair techniques are performed by Dr. Jairaj and are endorsed by the International Cartilage Repair Society meetings includ-
ing the utilisation of progenitor (stem) cell techniques. He is one of the only UK surgeons performing the Subchondroplasty procedure, offering
patients another option to joint replacement surgery.
Dr. Jairaj’s surgical training was on the prestigious Imperial College Scheme obtaining the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of En-
gland qualification in both Surgery in General (FRCS Eng) and Orthopaedic Surgery (FRCS Orth). At the end of his training Mr Jairaj undertook
Fellowships at Centers of Excellence across the United States as well a French Fellowship at the elite Clinique du Sport in Bordeaux.
He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, an International Affiliate member of The American Academy of Orthopaedic
Surgeons, a member of the International Cartilage Repair Society, a member of the International Society for Hip Arthroscopy, a member of the
