Hip Replacement Surgery

Early last year I was spotted by a neighbour who had seen me hobbling along the street.  They had recognised my characteristic symptoms and recommended I go and have a chat with Paul Jairaj as they had been delighted themselves with a recent hip replacement that he had undertaken.

I kicked the can down the road for a further few months until I could tolerate the pain no more and booked my first appointment with Paul.  That first meeting was the start of a truly amazing journey that has changed my life so much for the better.

Initial MRI scans showed that my left hip had deteriorated dreadfully and would have to be immediately replaced.  The same scan also showed significant deterioration in my right hip too with the likely need that this would need to be replaced at a later date. Although the initial diagnosis was quite a shock, Paul carefully explained my recommended treatment and the positive results it would bring.  He gave me absolute confidence that he would be the best person to undertake my much-needed surgery. Paul outlined the leading-edge 3D technology he would use with Swiss made Symbios implants specifically tailored to best mirror both of my hips.  I had my left hip replaced first followed by my right hip just over a year later.

I cannot find the words to express how successful both treatments have been.  I am completely pain free with exceptional mobility. I feel both physically and mentally incredible and better than I have for years.
